At the end of the year 2000, Grupo Crédito, Interbank and Banco Sudamericano (nowadays Scotiabank Perú) decided to create the first company of trust services in Peru, La Fiduciaria. The company’s objective is to introduce the trust services in Peru, which is an unknown product in the country but essential around the world, as it provides security, transparency and trust to all kind of operations.

  • 2001

    La Fiduciaria was born with the responsibility of making trusts a tool of trust, profitability and solidity.
    La Fiduciaria signs 18 trusts.

  • 2002

    The decision was made to promote the real estate trust, contributing to the development of Mi Vivienda loans.

  • 2003

    La Fiduciaria consolidates its position as a leader in the trust market with more than 69 registered transactions.

  • 2004

    La Fiduciaria achieved a remarkable growth, surpassing the established goals and consolidating its position as leader in the trust market by signing the 100th operation with the company Generadora Termoeléctrica Ventanilla.

  • 2005

    The decision was made to promote the flow control trust, thus allowing the development of different infrastructure works of national interest.

  • 2006

    The new office located at Calle Los Libertadores 155, San Isidro, is inaugurated. Also, contributing to the growth and development of Peru, an agreement is signed with the Compañía de Bomberos Voluntarios del Perú, in which La Fiduciaria assumes all the life insurance policies of the members of said company.

  • 2007

    The 200th trust was signed with CIA Minera Poderosa and the Extranet service was launched to provide better service to our customers.

  • 2008

    Social agreement signed with Hogar Clínica San Juan de Dios for the administration of Teletón donations. 47 more trusts are signed.

  • 2009

    The 300th trust is signed with the Mustafa Group.

  • 2010

    The 400th trust is signed with GMV (now Viva GyM).

  • 2011

    Ten years of leadership in the trust market.

  • 2012

    The 500th trust fund was signed with GyM Ferrovías for the construction of Line 1 of the electric train.

  • 2013

    Trust number 600 is signed with the company Generación Eléctrica de Junín.

  • 2014

    The 700th trust is signed with Belmond Hotels for the construction and start-up of the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge.

  • 2015

    The 800th trust fund was signed with Parque Eólico Marcona and a social agreement was signed with the Asociación de Voluntarias por los Niños con Cáncer - Magia.

  • 2016

    In February, the 900th trust is signed with PeruRail. Social agreement signed with Pro Mujer INC. Additionally, La Fiduciaria makes history by signing the 1000th trust with Aeropuertos del Perú (ADP).

  • 2017

    Trust number 1100 is signed with JJC Contratistas Generales.

  • 2018

    The 1200th trust is signed with Top Rank, a company linked to the hotel and tourism sector.

  • 2019

    Trust number 1450 linked to the real estate sector was signed, maintaining a market share of more than 50%.

  • 2020

    Despite the pandemic, La Fiduciaria continued to operate normally. Our clients were not affected.

  • 2021

    The growth line was recovered, new sectors were supported as a consequence of the pandemic. Implemented the guarantee agent and administrative agent business line.

  • 2022

    La Fiduciaria acts as a strategic ally to refinance debts, provide financial oxygen and generate and preserve employment. We reached 1,800 trust agreements.

Paulo is a lawyer from Universidad de Lima with an MBA on finance by Universidad ESAN, which he got on 1999.

Also, he is a teacher of the financial department in the Escuela de Postgrado de ESAN, of the Instituto de Formación Bancaria, and he is a guest teacher in trust issues in different schools around the country. Paulo has published different articles in business and financial magazines, as well as in newspapers.

Paulo was CEO of a distribution company in Bolivia, and then in a telecommunications´ company in Peru. On the year 2000, he participated in the formation of La Fiduciaria, where he would occupy the CEO place.

RAFAEL PARODI

Commercial Manager

Rafael is Bachelor in Industrial Engineering of the Universidad de Lima and has an MBA on Finances and Strategies of Rotman School of Management - University of Toronto, Canadá.

He was a part of the design and implementation of the business plan of La Fiduciaria after its creation in the year 2001. Rafael was Chief of Operations, Administration and Finance, where he was in charge of more than 120 operations. He is also a member of the structuring team of La Fiduciaria.

After 3 years in Canada, working as a financial consultant for Aviva Canada, he returned to La Fiduciaria to assume the direction of the Commercial Managment.

PAOLA POSTIGO

Administration and Operations Manager

Paola is collegial public accountant by the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and has a specialization in Finance. She is currently pursuing a Master in Strategic Management in Centrum. She has over 10 years of experience in the trust market.

Paola and was a member of our team in previous years serving as Chief of Administration and Operations. Then took a step in Banco Interbank, where she worked as Head of Business Support Trusts area.

Currently, Paola is our Administration and Operations Manager, being responsible for supervising more than 530 trusts existing operations. Her responsibilities include the coordination and administration of the trust of our customers, as well as the efficient control of operational risk of the company.

SUSANA MONTES

Accounting Manager

Susana is a certified public accountant, graduated from Ricardo Palma University, with specializations in: IFRS/NIIF'S and in Integral Risk Management by Universidad del Pacífico, in Business Taxation by Universidad ESAN, in Human Management by CENTRUM PUCP and candidate for a Master's Degree in Finance and Administration Management by Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.

Susana is a founding officer of La Fiduciaria, in the 22 years of experience in trusts, she was responsible for the creation of the accounting department, the processes and automation of the area, the implementation of the first fiduciary software in Peru and its constant updating, as well as the digital transformation, in its efforts to maintain efficiency. She also collaborated in the implementation of the accounting regulations for trusts of the SBS.

Currently, she is our Accounting Manager, responsible for the management of more than 1,900 operations.

DIEGO URIBE

Legal Manager

Diego holds a law degree with honors from Universidad de Lima and is a candidate for a Master's Degree in Banking and Financial Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

He has more than fourteen years of experience in the legal field, with previous experience at Banco GNB Peru and at Benites, Vargas y Ugaz law firm, specializing in banking, financial and real estate law.

Currently, Diego has been serving as our Legal Manager, a position he has held since January 2020, successfully signing more than four hundred trusts.
